NLC Chicago Institute
New Leaders Council Chicago (NLC Chicago) is a six-month fellowship program that instructs ambitious change-makers and equips them with the tools and network necessary to take the progressive movement to the next level. The program has helped alumni succeed in a variety of arenas, including running for office, starting non-profits and new businesses, or just generally becoming a stronger leader in the progressive community.
The program is one full weekend per month for five months, plus a fundraising event. Each institute is focused on a different skill-set to make fellows more successful in their careers and progressive endeavors.

About the Network
Individual NLC Chicago Fellowship classes consist of presentations and workshops conducted by accomplished, progressive leaders from diverse backgrounds, sectors and professional experiences. You will receive extraordinary training from extraordinary individuals. This remarkable cross-sector collaboration is unique to NLC and critical to empowering fellows to become effective changemakers.
Post-graduation, the NLC network reaches its strongest value. Alumni are connected to a nationwide group of over 4,000 dynamic individuals doing incredible things in their communities and in a variety of fields. Their common thread is their ambition and dedication to the progressive movement.
